New Spring/Summer Bedding in the Master

I bought this bedding many months ago for Spring/Summer. I fell in love with the colors and design when I saw it so went ahead and got it. Little did I know that we would FINALLY have a new bed to put the bedding on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOOOOOO happy to have a new bed, ours was almost 30 years old!!!! Oh my aching back (and hip). No more pain!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!! But back to the bedding; hope you like it too:)
 I love this pattern!
I had a happy moment when I realized I had 2 pillows in my stash that look like they were made for this set!!! The trim on them matches almost perfectly with the bedding!
I used 2 green pillows from my stash to bring out the little bits of green in the pattern.
Love this pretty ruffled pillow that I found at Big Lots!
I bought this succulent and this pot the other day. But today I repotted it in a SPECIAL container you will see further down in the post.
 Joe's side.
These 3 pieces travel all over the house but look so pretty with this bedding.

Here is my special container. We (my sister and I) grew up in my Grandmothers house. So it was the 5 of us: My Mom, me, my sister Sue, Grandma and my Aunt Bunny! She was like another Mother to me. One year at Easter when I was a teen I bought her this bunny with an African violet in it. I am SO happy I still have it!
It is a little chippy but that is fine with me!

Our room is bright and cheery for these warmer months. Thanks for your visit.

Spring WELCOMES you!!!

This is how we have been greeting friends and neighbors for the past 2 weeks. I got out my Easter wreath and some bunnies that have been waiting oh so patiently to come out of their hutches to say Welcome! This sweet little bunny and her baby make me smile.
I just had to buy some pansies at the grocery store, they were my only new purchase this year for the front porch.
My large brown bunny was purchased at Lowes last year. He is VERY heavy!
I created a pretty arrangement in my urn of forsythia, parrott tulips, twigs, and other spring flowers.
2 more bunnies on this side of the porch, along with the lantern that lights at night and stays all year. I am going to lift it onto something else to hide the cords:)
I got this large bunny at Christmas Tree Shops many years ago. He is still in good shape which is surprising to me.

We had to move the wreath from on the front door to the wall here because birds are making a nest and it scared them every time we opened the door. They are very NOISY wrens:)

 Welcome! Please come in!
All the bushes are budding out so I am anxiously awaiting some pretty blooms soon!
Thanks SO much for your visit. I wish each of you and your families a very happy and blessed Easter.

A "Chicks" Table!!

I decided to change our breakfast room table....again:) I didn't have to do much but I know our little miss Colleen will love the chicks:) I got the platter at KMart many years ago. I kept the same box for my centerpiece and just changed out the platter, added the nest and some little chicks!
The yellow flowers in the nest continue the yellow color.

I used a yellow placemat, a round, green mat, a yellow dinner plate and a pink flower salad and then these cute little egg shaped dishes.
I have 2 Easter wine glasses with chicks on them too.
My chick candle holders hold the egg candles.
I gathered a printed green and white napkin with the Easter egg napkin in a white ceramic ring.

The bunny pulling the chick stayed on the table.

I added 2 little egg shaped ornaments that look like cookies. I will remove them if Colleen is here or she will try to eat them:)

I lit the candles, just for you!

For breakfast we can use these cute mugs.

The real hyacinth is spent so I added a faux bloom!

Thanks so much for your visit. I will be partying here:
